In May 2016, the headmaster of Staatliche Akademie der bildenen Künste Stuttgart surprisingly resigned and went into politics. Despite a posted job vacancy, her office stayed empty until July. This inspired the class Jankowski to create a project called Wahlkampf. About twenty people were interviewed, from caretaker to the head of administration, and asked to give an answer to the question of how they would fill this vacancy. The interview text was integrated into a play which was presented by two actors in the headmaster’s offce.
